Niarbyl Cafè and visitor centre is situated on the west coast of the Island midway between Peel and Port Erin. Positioned on the headland above the beach, it provides fantastic panoramic views all year round with a spectacular coastal outlook to both the North and South
Niarbyl Cafè has a clean, bright and modern dècor yet still feels old fashioned and friendly. The Cafè was extensively refurbished in 2005 incorporating large plasma screens through the building telling the Niarbyl story.
Front of House Manager Anthony Mingins and his staff always provide a warm welcome to both new visitors and old friends alike, and Head Chef Taf Gordon makes sure that there are plenty of delicious options to tempt you.
Using only the finest local ingredients Taf prepares a wide variety of tasty treats from the extensive menu, including the legendary Niarbyl fish and chips or traditional afternoon tea including home made cakes and scones. The menu is changed regularly and always features weekly specials.
Whilst operating a cafè style menu during the day, a full restaurant menu is available in the evenings, and advance bookings may be made for both day and night. Niarbyl Cafè is fully licensed and can cater for large parties with room in the car park for coach parties. It is also possible to book Niarbyl Cafè for private functions such as weddings or corporate parties and the large plasma screens and DVD system make it the ideal venue for presentation parties or product launches.
After sampling the fine fare available why not take a bracing walk down to the beach where the observant visitor will recognise the site of the successful comedy film Waking Ned Devine, and after strolling back up that steep hill, you will be ready for another visit !
